OUR HISTORY
Ujaama Inc. is a nonprofit organization, located in Baltimore, Maryland. We are committed to preparing African-American youth to become effective leaders by understanding their purpose, appreciating their unique identity, and building their self-esteem.
Our purpose is to educate and empower the youth with the
skills, mindset, and resources to attain economic wealth and empowerment. To understand the value of investing in their community, and to become entrepreneurs in the business world.

To raise the consciousness of all nations and to keep cognizant the unerring truth of the contributions made to society and to the world by the African-American people

The Freedom Bracelet is worn in remembrance of our ancestors who survived The Middle Passage Voyage with courage and fortitude and as a reminder of our rich African heritage.
